Up, Up, Up!

Here's a video of Sawyer at the mall from a couple of weeks ago. He loves to say, "up, up, up!". He also gives Cliff a kiss at the end. He's such a sweet little boy!

Thanksgiving

We spent Thanksgiving with our friends Darren and Shelbie at their parents' house. We had a wonderful time. Everyone was really nice and there were a ton of kids there. Sawyer was little overwhelmed, I think. He brought his Mopi bike and rode around on it most of the time. Occasionally, another kid would get on his Mopi and he would get upset. Poor little guy. We're working on learning how to share. He was exhausted by the end of the day and fell asleep in the car on our way home.

I started a 14 day free trial account at SmugMug and posted pictures from the day. I'm still deciding whether or not to continue with membership after 14 days.

Rich in Florida

Our dear friend Rich came to visit us a couple weeks ago. He became fast buddies with both Sawyer and Enya. Sawyer loved having a new person to play with and ate up all the attention he was getting. Enya slept with Rich and snored at 150 decibels, but it didn't seem to bother him.

Palm Beach Zoo

We took Sawyer to the Palm Beach Zoo today. The weather was perfect! It was sunny, but cool and breezy so it made walking around that much more enjoyable. We needed a break from the heat!

Sawyer had a blast feeding the goats! They ran out of goat food in the gumball machine, but a super nice girl offered Sawyer her goat food. The goats were not shy at all! Sawyer even tried to kiss one of them.

Sawyer Trick or Treating for the 1st time

Sawyer was a cute little red devil for Halloween this year. Earlier in the day, we went to Delray Beach for a Halloween parade downtown in blistering 90 degree heat. As you can imagine, we did not make Sawyer wear his costume for long. He wore it just long enough to take these pictures.


Later that night once the weather had cooled down a bit, we took him out Trick or Treating. He brought along his Mopi, which worked out great! People laughed and laughed when they saw him, he looked so cute!


Here he is back at home checking out his candy. We let him have 1 small Milky Way bar.

Back at home, we had a ton of trick or treaters come by. We ran out of candy by 8:45pm!

Sawyer at the Pumpkin Patch

We took Sawyer to a pumpkin patch in Wellington this past Saturday. He loved all the pumpkins and headed straight for the biggest ones first! He kept picking one up after the other and ended up dropping 1. After that, I told him he could touch them, but please don't pick them up. He got mad and refused to cooperate with the picture taking after that.

Sunday, we went to the beach. Yes, we're there practically every weekend. :-)

Our friend Drew drove down from NYC to visit a couple weeks ago. We took a boat out to Peanut Island. It was Sawyer's first time on a boat. He actually said the word boat for the very first time that day.

Sawyer turned 2 today!

It's hard to believe our little Soybean is now 2! He's growing up so fast, it makes our hearts ache a little. The past 2 years have been hard, but incredibly fulfilling. I baked him a yellow birthday cake with chocolate frosting and rainbow sprinkles.
