Sawyer turns 5!

It's hard to believe my precious little man is now 5. He has changed so much in the past year it's mind boggling. There are a few significant milestones in a child's life and I think turning 5 is one of them. 

Sawyer is so excited about being Batman for Halloween this year, he's been wearing his costume every day now for a week!

Sawyer loves Sky so much! He has loved her from day 1. He told me he wants to marry Sky when he grows up. lol  A month ago he said he wanted to marry Grandma. 

Promotion

Cliff got promoted at work today. He is now the new Vice President of Marketing! I am so proud of my baby! He totally deserves it!

Virginia Beach

We just got back from a long weekend in Virginia Beach. We stayed with Cliff's uncle, aunt, and cousin William at their beach house.

Sawyer had a blast riding the waves! This was Sky's first beach experience and there was no holding her back. She loved feeling the sand under her feet and would run full speed ahead into the water. Watching her, you'd think she'd been to the beach a hundred times before. Poor Cliff was sick the entire time so he didn't get to enjoy it as much as the rest of us.

Memorial Day Weekend

We spent Memorial Day weekend with the Grandparents at their place in Lake Gaston, NC. The kids loved it! Sawyer spent all 4 days in the water. It was so nice getting away from it all. None of us wanted to leave and we've already made plans to go back in a few weeks. We'll be spending lots of time there this summer.
