Gulf Stream Park, Class

I took Sawyer to Gulf Stream Park yesterday to play. Gulf Stream Park is our local beach, the one we always go to. The park area sits right above the beach. There's a play structure for kids, but Sawyer isn't at all interested in it. He prefers just running around and exploring.

Look how blue the water is. The view is magnificent.

Earlier in the day, Sawyer had class. Hannah, the instructor, brought cookies. Here are the kids happily munching on their cookies and making a mess. The girl is front is Lila. She and Sawyer are only a few days apart, born in the same hospital. Adriana, on the far left with the ponytails, is Sawyer's little buddy. Logan is the little boy on the right. He's a little over 2 and speaks in simple sentences.

Brushing teeth, Drew visits, Beach day

Sawyer brushes his own teeth now! Tonight, he did not want me helping him at all. He wanted to do it all by himself. I was so proud of him and cheered him on the whole time! He has the bottom row down pat, but still needs a little help with the top row. Here he is brushing his teeth all by himself for the very first time. My little baby is growing up.


Our dear friend Drew drove all the way down from NYC to visit us this past weekend. It was so fun having him here! It was his first time meeting Sawyer and the little guy took to him right away, even followed him around the house. We spent Sunday at the beach, a mere 10 minute drive from the house. I believe the beach is reason numero uno for living in the Sunshine State. The beaches here are beautiful and the water is 80 degrees almost year round.
