Cliff did a science experiment with Sawyer the other day. He showed him how a volcano works. He filled up the volcano with baking soda and poured vinegar into it causing it to explode. Ever since he showed Sawyer a volcano video, Sawyer has been fascinated with volcano explosions and lava. There's one particular volcano video he loves to watch by Bill Nye. Cliff downloaded a bunch of science videos made specifically for kids from Bill Nye and they're all great. Sawyer really gets into them! Our little scientist in the making.
As you can see in the background, Sawyer has also turned our sofa into his own personal fort.
Another fun thing Sawyer loves to do is make smoothies in our Magic Bullet blender. His favorite is the red smoothie (strawberry & banana) because red is his favorite color. On this particular day, we only had oranges on hand so the boys made an orange smoothie instead. Sawyer helped peel the oranges.
